Some of the greatest musicians of all time were born and raised in Jamaica. When most people think of Jamaican music, they think about reggae. Two of the best reggae artists of all time are Bob Marley and Ziggy Marley. Bob Marley is considered one of the pioneer of reggae music. He rose to fame during the 1960′s and had a very successful career until his death in 1982. During his career, he sold over 25 million records worldwide. Ziggy is the son of Bob Marley and was fortunate enough to inherit some of his father’s musical talent. He started his singing career back in 1979 at the tender age of 11. Some of his hits include: “True to Myself, “Drive” and “Get Ready.” He is still very active in the music business today and will be releasing a new album in June. It will be called, ” Wild and Free.”
